Service Philosophy

 The “Birth Bubble” Philosophy

Birth is one of the most profoundly vulnerable and transformative experiences of your life. When you are in the depths of labor, you deserve a doula who isn’t glancing at the clock or carrying the exhaustion of a back-to-back schedule.
To ensure you receive my absolute, unhurried devotion, I intentionally limit my Signature In-Person Care to just eight families a year. In a world that constantly rushes, this rhythm is my promise to you: I fiercely protect my own energy and focus so that I can pour it entirely into your sacred birth space.

By protecting my calendar, I am protecting your ‘birth bubble.’ It guarantees that when your due window begins, I am ready to be your unwavering anchor bringing a rested body, a grounded presence, and a calm mind to help you welcome your baby with pure, undisturbed grace.”

My Scope of Practice & Professional Standards

As a DONA Certified Doula, I am committed to providing the highest level of continuous physical, emotional, and informational support. My practice is built on nearly 2 decades of professional caregiving and is guided by the rigorous standards of the world’s leading doula certifying organization.

 What I Do For You

  • Emotional Support: I provide a calming presence and constant encouragement to help you stay centered and confident.
  • Physical Comfort: I utilize evidence-based techniques—including position changes, massage, and breathing guidance—to help manage labor.
  • Informational Support: I offer resources and evidence-based information so you can make empowered decisions about your care.
  • Advocacy: I help you find your voice. I facilitate communication between you and your medical team to ensure your birth preferences are heard and respected.
  • Family Care: Drawing on my deep background in childcare, I support your partner and family to ensure the entire “village” feels prepared.

My Professional Boundaries:

In accordance with DONA International’s Standards of Practice, my role is non-medical. To ensure your safety, I do not:

  • Perform clinical tasks (such as vaginal exams or fetal heart monitoring).
  • Provide medical diagnoses or give clinical advice.
