Client Photos and Media
We deeply respect your privacy and the sacred intimacy of your birth experience. Any photographs, testimonials, or media featuring you or your child are only published on this website with your explicit, written consent. You reserve the right to revoke this consent at any time, and we will promptly remove the media upon request.
Cookies
To protect your privacy and maintain strict compliance with health privacy standards, we do not use any marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website.
We only use strictly necessary, “essential” cookies built into our website platform. These are required solely for the website to function properly and securely. These essential cookies do not track your personal data, browsing habits, or health information.
Secure Scheduling & Intake
We utilize secure, third-party platforms to provide you with the best care. This includes Setmore for appointment scheduling and Google Workspace (Google Forms) for client intake. We hold strict Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with these partners to ensure your health information is fully encrypted and HIPAA-compliant.
Who we share your data with
We will never sell, trade, or publicly expose your personal or health information. We only share your data with necessary, secure partners to facilitate your care:
Insurance Processing: If you are an in-network client utilizing insurance, the necessary administrative and health information is shared securely with our partnership billing entity, Loula, who handles all insurance claims and processing on our behalf.
Administrative Partners: Information submitted for scheduling or intake is processed exclusively through our HIPAA-compliant partners (Setmore and Google).
How long we retain your data
Because we provide professional doula services, we are required to retain your client records and health information for the duration mandated by state and federal healthcare laws.
What rights you have over your data
You have the right to request a copy of the personal and health data we hold about you. You can also request that we update or erase your personal data, provided that request does not conflict with data we are legally obliged to keep for healthcare, legal, or administrative security purposes.
